Innovative Performance drivers TJ Koyen, Josh Hotz, and Matthew Northrop look to capture the Route 66 Sprint Series championships this weekend, in their respective classes, in Dousman, WI! We’re finally coming home for the Route 66 Sprint Series finale, and what a ride it has been! This season is nearing its end and we plan on ending it with a big bang!
TJ leads the Yamaha 100 Senior class with style. With the 2 allowable drops, he leads Collin Griffin by a whopping 180 points and Brandon Lemke by 230 points. Something big would need to happen in order for this guy to not win!!!
Josh is in the hunt running only 82 points behind Kindra Hurlbert in the Leopard Senior division. Between Hurlbert, Hotz, and Ramsey, this weekends finishes will ultimately determine who will wind up victorious and champion! Hurlbert will be having Mike Giessen run for her as she has a medical issue, and Ramsey, who was hurt last weekend, will have Brandon Lemke as his reserve driver running for him. Easy to say that this weekend will be a battle of some of the best talent Leopard Senior has ever seen.
Matthew is currently sitting in 4th place in the Yamaha 100 Junior category, but he has some stiff competition to beat and hold off! With drops, Matthew is sitting in 3rd, 133 points behind leader Alex Bertagnoli. With 1st through 5th being within 264 points, it’s really anyone’s championship to win. We’re hoping it’s Matthew! Matthew will be looking to take this weekend by storm and pulling off an awesome victory.
Zach heads into this weekend battling for a top 5 in Yamaha Rookie. He is currently in 4th with Camrin Cass and Connor Churchill right on his heals! In addition, he is also running 4th in the Micro Rok class ahead of Dylan Julien and Connor Churchill who are within striking distance. He will be looking to capitalize this weekend, in hopes to take a top 3 in both classes!
Good luck to all of the drivers fighting for championships and all of the other drivers in our tent looking to grab their best result of the season!
